Gin MacGuffin

My involvement in the Gin MacGuffin project was an exciting creative journey that helped shape the identity of this authentically Venetian gin.
I had the honor of following the birth and initial phase of Gin MacGuffin, an experience that introduced me to this high quality product.

My collaboration mainly involved the creation of the label and communication material for stands and trade shows, as well as various branding elements that would make the experience associated with Gin MacGuffin unique.
This gin was born out of the passion and creativity of two friends, Angelo (of“The Holy Drinker” – you can visit the site here) and Francesco, who wanted the label’s graphics to reflect an adventurous and fascinating, almost Old West atmosphere.
They wanted to evoke the image of two distillers traveling and selling their magical tonic, just like the protagonists of an epic story.

To realize this vision, I was inspired by a photo taken at the distillery, capturing the authenticity and spirit of the company.
The MacGuffin Gin label was designed in a style reminiscent of the Old West, with details reminiscent of saloons and the typical atmosphere of those iconic places.
This design made the label a distinctive element, evoking the imagery and charm of a bygone era

In addition to the label, I created the communication materials for the booths and trade shows, including the leaflets and coasters.
All of these elements maintained the old-west style, transporting the audience on a time travel through the world of MacGuffin Gin.

The success achieved by Gin MacGuffin is a testament to the effectiveness of the creative collaboration and the care with which the visual identity was developed in its early part of life.
The charming and engaging atmosphere created by the design helped the product stand out in a competitive market, and I am glad to have been a part-even initially-of this project, which now enjoys the well-deserved international recognition it has achieved.
